Petits bisous /pedē bi.zu/
It means “Little kisses” in French because I believe that a good pastry is a like a warm delicious kiss: it’s a shot of instant happiness.
When I arrived in the U.S. a few years ago, I started developing all sorts of food reactions: not used to the US wheat or dairy products, I started playing with my baking to find alternatives. I found ways to make it work for me by importing the right flour and butter from France and also re-creating my favorite recipe Vegan friendly for my friends based on their dietary preference. Today I strive to provide some of the French classics I grew up eating and loving with the Californian state-of-mind: to make it available for every-body. Take a look at my catalog, come pick up a pastry this weekend, or simply reach out and let’s talk about your up and coming event and let me see if I can help make it a bit sweeter and a bit more French.
Hi! I’m Magali
Growing up in France I was always drawn to baking so I would leverage any and every occasion I could get to bake for my family: my sisters’ birthday, mother’s day, friends get together you name it, I’d be baking my heart away! Baking had become my love language, today I’m turning this passion into something more, to expand my horizon and get everyone to discover the flavors I love and some of the French classics I grew up with.
Also, after a couple trips to Japan and my fascination by their amazingly delicious baked goods, I took inspiration from what I discovered and injected it in my menu, take a look.
